Just because it has an OEM badge doesn’t necessarily make it one, it just means they got an oem logo center cap

My next door neighbor bought a used ‘08 Tundra a couple years ago, with similarly sized and designed wheels. Thankfully he has switched over to stock rims, because I was running out of eye-bleach.

Unfortunately for him this summer, with 135k miles on the truck, the engine done blowed up!

I was actually thinking the other day: if your car drives by and I can see light through your spokes and brakes like a bicycle wheel... they’re too darn big.

I say no more than one inch beyond the brake caliper. Ever. Exceptions for drum brakes, where the rear wheels should match the fronts . Front wheels: See caliper rule.

To be fair to Toyota though, the cause of all the trouble was the radiator shit the bed, and by the time he noticed the temperature gauge was climbing, it was too late. Engine nuked itself.

I feel bad for the guy. His truck is almost identical to that one that went a million miles. The only difference is his is brown, and a short bed.
